Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I order a door?

A: You may locate a dealer in the Where to Buy section of this website.  They will complete our Sales Order form and send it to us.  Your door would be delivered to the store who ordered it.

Q: How do I measure a door?

A: All New Concept’s entry systems are pre-hung, which mean they include the slab, door jamb, boring and hinges.  To measure an existing entry, you need to remove any interior trim or frame to expose where the drywall meets to door frame. Then measure the height, depth and width of the door frame in at least three locations each.  The smallest measurement for each is what you should order.  For new construction, you will measure the rough stud opening’s height, width and depth in three locations for the smallest measurement.

It is also important to note, when standing outside facing the door, whether it will swing in or out and if the hinges will be on the left or right side.

Q: How do I install a door?

A: An exterior door must be set, plumbed, screwed and adjusted properly to achieve a positive weather barrier.  We have found that 80% of service issues occur due to installation errors.  We strongly recommend a professional install your door.  The door unit will function properly only if it is installed by following detailed instructions, which are shipped with the door.
